The Kautapen Group is a collection of 29 fishing and hunting lodges throughout Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico and The Bahamas. Since 1984 we’ve built decades of experience in high-end sporting travel, and we are proud to offer a level of service at our properties that matches the finest boutique hotels in the world, each with its own personality.

Bonefish Tarpon Trust Week - Abaco Lodge
A little over four years ago, Hurricane Dorian wreaked havoc on the northern Bahamas, devastating Abaco Lodge, Marsh Harbour, and most of Grand Bahama in its westward path. While the island’s infrastructure and communities have made significant recoveries, the lingering natural damage from the floodwaters requires our assistance.
Dorado Conservation Week - Paraná River, Argentina
Our company’s deep connection to Argentina’s native species and their habitats resonates profoundly with us. Over the years, we’ve traversed the Paraná River system, chasing golden dorado from the crystal lagoons of Pirá Lodge in the Iberá Marshlands to Suindá Lodge and Paraná River Outfitters along the Paraná’s sanbars and riachos.
Las Teleras Project - Santiago del Estero, Argentina
In the remote villages nestled deep within the Santiago del Estero province, a remarkable group of women is trying to forge their own path and empower local women. These women are known as SachaMama, a name resonating with the essence of the forest, translating to “Mother of the Forest” in their native tongue.
